Office Of Violence Prevention and Trama Recovery

The Office of Violence Prevention andTrauma Recovery was created in 2020 as part of Mayor Ras J. Baraka’s mission to reimagine public Safety. OVPTR addresses violent crime and trauma by providing improved access to social services, intervention programs and approaching violence as a public health matter.
